Currently #1 APA in the world! Very hazy with light head retention, smells of herbal hops, grapefruit, and bubblegum. The taste is crisp with notes of toasted bread, peppery grains, and a touch of grapefruit on a smooth, full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter with notes of grapefruit pith, herbal and pine hops. Overall, it’s well balanced, and very flavorful, and has the distinct bubblegum notes I seem to pick up in all Three Floyds, perhaps from the yeast? Either way, it’s a great West Coast-style APA.
